Those who watched the live stream experienced a strange 25-second pause just after Eric’s opening prayer as Ryan coached Josh Spuur on how to run the song lyrics after realizing that Zach, our normal song lyrics guy, was “unavailable” due to the fact he was approximately 1,000 miles away at school in California. Yikes. A huge thanks to Josh for responding with grace and enthusiasm when pressed into service…and for being a very quick study!

This week, Eric started a miniseries on the book of Ruth, an Old Testament story that puts God’s sovereign grace, faithfulness, and lovingkindness on display. Current plans are to come back to 1 Peter in mid-September.
